February Manchester Online Seller Meetup

Our Manchester online seller meetup at Rise this evening had engaging talks with Abdullah from PlentymarketsUK and Andy Younan from Tradebalustrade.  PlentymarketsUK is the provider of multichannel sales tools and specialist in helping you expanding into Europe. Andy successfully trades on eBay and Amazon.

Abdullah’s talk about expanding into Europe was really engaging and attendees quite like the idea of adding new channels after eBay and Amazon. Plentymarkets UK helps you add new European channels like Bol, Richard and Cdiscount. They also have multilingual support team to help you setup your account and minimise the language barrier. Andy’s talk was an interesting one as he is an online seller himself. Andy shared his success story with some tips on both eBay and Amazon. Andy’s main take away was to expand as many channels as you can and create a larger customer base. The return may not be significant at the start but building up customer base ultimately gives you good return.  The audience quite liked Andy’s idea about sending customers a follow up thank you letter in the post with a sample product to try out. Andy says this keeps you in your customer’s mind.
