It was great to be back in Cardiff for the Online Seller Meetup. We are really passionate about helping online sellers and we have been doing this for the past few years. The evening started with Adam’s sourcing talk with lots of questions coming from attendees. Sourcing is a minefield with lots to think about from import duty to VAT and getting logistics right is not an easy task. Adam provided clear advice on how to go about finding the right suppliers and gave good pointers on logisitics with useful contact information. Adam continued his talk by helping us to understand how to ship to Amazon US and he gave us an insight into how to go about starting selling on Amazon. Sales tax is something we hear mentioned a lot and it is a complicated topic to handle. For this very reason we have created an ultimate guide to sales tax which you can find here on our blog post.

The evening ended with Prabhat, founder at Online Seller UK, talking about Amazon best practice. He talked about how factors affect organic ranking, factors affect the buy box and Amazon sponsored ads.
