We had a really enjoyable evening yesterday with our Newport Online Seller Meetup. We had attendance from 20 businesses and they came from Bath, Bristol, Cardiff and Newport. There were sellers already selling online on Marketplaces ( eBay & Amazon ) and Website and sellers who are exploring online avenue. Really mixed audience!

Our second speaker, David Garcia Ruiz from Trustyourbrand, a Swansea based SEO consultancy, delivered very insightful talk on international SEO. SEO is a complex topic but David explained international SEO in very simple terms and audience were quite engaged with David answering lots of questions at the end of his presentation. There were few businesses with real potential to expand internationally and his talk gave them actionable steps to move forward with their international website development. We rounded up the evening with me taking questions about Amazon FBA and Private labelling. There were few businesses attending who were already doing well with Amazon FBA so, I had opportunity to share some best practices. And for the rest they had good key points to take away on how to start selling with Amazon FBA.
